Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 22, 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

Fineprint.click ("the Service") is operated by Anuj Kumar ("we", "us"). By using the Service you ("you") enter into an agreement with Anuj Kumar on these terms.

2. Acceptance

By accessing or continuing to use the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction or have authority to bind the organisation you represent.

3. The Service

Fineprint.click is a browser extension and web app that summarises and explains terms-of-service, privacy policies, and other legal documents. A free tier and a paid "Pro" tier are offered. Outputs are AI-generated and may contain inaccuracies — they are not legal advice.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

  • use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes;
  • send spam, malware, or content that infringes third-party rights;
  • interfere with security, probe, scan, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service;
  • resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without our written consent;
  • circumvent technical limits, quotas, or access controls;
  • use the Service to generate illegal content, hate speech, or to deceive third parties.

You are responsible for the content you submit and how you use the outputs. You must have the right to submit any document you process. AI outputs may be inaccurate and must not be relied on as legal, financial, tax, or professional advice without independent verification.

5. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, branding, and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan. You retain rights in content you submit and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to operate the Service.

7. Payments — Paddle as Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, subscription terms, taxes, cancellations, and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, available at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.

Pro subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time via paddle.net or the in-app billing link; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

8. Refunds

See our Refund Policy.

9. Service availability

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

10. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where prohibited by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; you may request export or deletion of your data subject to legal retention.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Anuj Kumar's jurisdiction of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
